The Embed Instructions button within the Online Booking settings page provides you with ready-to-use HTML code to embed your Online Booking form directly into your own website. This makes it easy for clients to book appointments without leaving your site.
Embedding the Code
- Ensure the domain/s you want the online booking frame to load on have been added to the domain list within the online booking settings.
- Click on the Embed Instruction button at the top of the global settings
- Copy the
<iframe>code shown in the text box. - Paste it into the HTML of your website where you want the booking form to appear.
Tip: If you’re using a website builder (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace), look for a “HTML” or “Embed Code” block to paste the iframe into.
Selecting a Preset
- Select the preset that you want to apply to the embedded form.
- Each preset can have its own settings (e.g., colours, appointment types, terms & conditions, locations, and practitioners), so you can embed different versions of the booking form on different pages or sites. Please refer to the Online Booking Settings guide for instructions on creating presets.
- If a preset is not selected then the global settings will be applied.
Test Before Embedding
- Use the Launch Test Page button to preview the booking form with your selected profile before placing it on your website.
- This allows you to verify that the form looks correct and works as expected.
Troubleshooting
If after integrating the iframe on your website you see a 'bookings.rushcliff.com refused to connect.' message then this will be due to the domain not being approved. Please check that the domain has been added within the online booking settings page.
